Nature Journaling A Large Mouth Bass Painting
Every week or so, the kiddos and I sit down to add an entry to our nature journals. So often it's what we've come across in our everyday adventures. Today, it's the large mouth bass. If you're looking to add nature journaling to your routine, but need a little help, click here for some quick tips to get you started. This week they did a lot of fishing, so naturally I illustrated their catch! I'm learning to love what they love.⠀⠀I'm learning to love what they love.My boys have fallen head over heals with the sport of fishing. I know absolutely nothing about it, including where this love came from. What I do know is how important it is to listen as they tell me what hook they need to lure which fish, and at what time of day they need to be situated at which location. It’s all very blasé to me, honestly, but I’m determined to love what they love in hopes that they see me listening, and learn to come to me with anything they feel they need to talk about.⠀Anyway, back to nature journaling ;) To see how our two loves combined in my nature journal, click on the video below and watch this large mouth bass painting come to life ;) I would really appreciate it if you would "like" it, tell me what you thought in the comments, and then hit that red subscribe button if you want to see more of these time lapse videos. Thanks Friends! Happy fishing... or drawing... in whichever order!
