Back to School X Two
I know it's cliche' to say, but, "Where does the time go?!" For as long as some of my days are, I just can't believe I have two boys in school right now. I mean, I'm still 22!
Nevertheless, the day could not have gone any better. I've learned from previous years, so prepared each child for the change that was about to occur, and how they would be affected. Although Luka seemed excited each step of the way, I was prepared for him to be all smiles until the bus showed up - - then, melt-down. That just didn't happen. The only semi-melt-down would be me. As the bus pulled up, both boys hopped on like business as usual. Didn't look back, didn't cry, sat together, and went on their merry way. Thank You Lord. Such an answer to prayer. Then why am I crying???
I love that our little school takes pride in preparing each child (and his parents) for the school year. Last week we attended the annual school picnic, where we have a bite, then meet teachers, and drop off school supplies. It's such a great opportunity for the kiddos to acquaint / reacquaint themselves to their surroundings, etc. So, that's where I'll start. (For those of you who like to picture the boys in their surroundings, hope this helps ;)

These two get cuter every day…but I might be a little partial ;)
