The Farm
My parents-in-law are nestled in a quaint little valley of WI, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. They own no livestock (unless you wanna count the wild deer and coyotes my father-in-law tracks), chickens, or pigs, and grow no crops except their own modest home garden. And yet we still call it "the farm" … probably because my father-in-law is planning to own ponies soon. (Throughout the years he's promised at least 7 of his 9 grandchildren a pony at some point in their lives ;) We'll see. None-the-less, there is a barn, and many beautiful acres of amish farmers crops. So until they get chickens, goats, buffalo, and ponies, we'll enjoy the view, and the wildlife and all that "the farm" has to offer. We just got back from a lovely visit where we crammed a lot of fun in on one weekend. Take a peak!
